The 8th annual San Diego International Children's Film Festival opens today, with more than 60 short films from around the world -- animation, live action, and documentary -- that are great for film fans of all ages. Animators, filmmakers and actors will appear throughout the day to talk about their work and give advice on education and creative careers in film and animation.
